Over 20 years ago, raising young children, my toddler daughter had skin sensitivity which led me to look at natural alternatives in my home and on her skin. I was studying Aromatherapy and the creation of natural bath and body products. I became inspired then.
Since 1999, I have continued to create and use my home made, natural face and body products. I continue to learn about new ingredients and techniques, most recently completing a Diploma in Natural Skincare Formulation (2019) and currently completing the updated version. I am often trying out new ideas and my friends, family and regular customers are often my test subject. I am grateful always for their support.
Seven years ago, I started creating candle gifts. I find the process deeply relaxing. I now source the jars for my candles from a local handmade pottery business Calamity Clay Creations, so that those containers can be reused, refilled and enjoyed again.
I am passionate about creating quality handmade, natural skin care and soy candle products from my heart with love and intention. Every moment of daily self-love is valuable and I encourage women to connect with themselves on a daily basis. Using your daily skin care routines as your daily self care rituals, assists in keeping your cup full. By giving to self, we can best serve and give to our families, friends and community. I live and breathe this lifestyle, committing to my own self-care first, in order to insert the highest energetic vibration into all that I do.
I live by the beach in Warnbro, Western Australia with my husband Dean, cat Bella, chickens Mackenzie, Macy and Mildred, and Odin, our new border collie pup. Our adult children live nearby. I love spending time in nature, especially the ocean, making time daily to put my feet in the sand and sea, to cleanse and ground myself.
