Becky Paroz is a one-of-a-kind operator.  She has 30 years in the construction industry, nearly half of that time running her own consultancy, and recently received a too-good-to-turn-down offer to return to work and become the GM of a local high-end building company.  She still writes for a variety of magazines in her free time, as well as runs local writing courses, when she is not writing for herself.  She was the first winner of the Fearless Leader Award in 2019 with Roar Success and has remained as part of the team, judging a variety of entries each year.  In her free time, she tries to sleep and wrangles her pet demons, which look like gorgeous twin Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

Becky is known for her GladiatHER approach to life, acting to win and achieve success in all areas.  She has accomplished all that she has with a chronic illness/disability and is a testament to what the power of will and determination can attain.

With thirty years in the construction industry Becky Paroz has demonstrated her unique leadership abilities on some of the most demanding projects in Australia. As well as being a successful and industry leading Project Manager she is  qualified coach and professional mentor. Becky has been and continues to be a much requested key-note speaker at state and national industry conferences.  She is also experienced presenter on the topics of leadership, confidence, and resilience, and has presented globally on these topics.  

Her professional resume has seen her work with corporate, government, Defence, Councils and NGO's as well as extensively in the private sector.  Becky has presented Risk Management Strategies to State leaders, provided regular reporting to Defence on project progress and schedule, build teams for strategic growth, and trained and mentored a significant number of young engineers, project managers, and industry new-comers. She has supported her clients through event management, from stall arrangements and bump-in to actual sales and community liaison through her attendance and keynote speaking presentations at trade shows, conferences, and industry events. 

Through childhood trauma, chronic pain due to a debilitating immuno- condition and the vast challenges of her career, Becky has never accepted anything less than achieving and surpassing her goals. She believes everyone needs the chance at a full life no matter the circumstances they were born into or grew up in.  She is motivated to pass on her lessons learnt to assist and educate the next generation of leaders to become high achievers like herself, which is why she is a Performance Coach to some of her clients.  To others, she is the book coach they never knew they needed to get their self published manuscript into circulation as a professionally presented book.

The original #GladiatHER, Becky writes regularly, promotes her books which speaks significantly on her leadership experience, and volunteers as a mentor with several industry groups.  She provides professional, experienced coaching, mentoring, and confidence training for entrants to the industry, encouraging them to manage the dynamics that come with a career in a male dominated field. She is the winner of many awards, a bestselling author, and regularly contributes to various online magazines, as well as writing more books in her free time.
